Audi RS5 in Italie in the Superstars Series

Gianni Morbidelli zal terugkeren naar de Superstars Series als onderdeel van de Audi Sport Italia hun nieuwe project.

De nieuwe Audi RS5 zal deelnemen aan de Superstars Series later in het seizoen 2011, en dankzij een deal met Brescia gebaseerde industriële onderneming Camozzi, Morbidelli zal achter stuur van de nieuwe raceauto zijn debuut krijgt.

Morbidelli won vier Superstars titels, waaronder twee Italiaanse titels met Audi Sport Italia in 2007 en 2008. In 2009 reed hij voor BMW Italia, om de Italiaanse en internationale titels te winnen.

Er is nog geen datum gegeven voor het debuut van de RS5, maar in de tussentijd zal Morbidelli race aanvangen met een bestaande RS4 model waarmee hij zijn titels won in het verleden.
